Foundations of Coaching

The requirement for Foundations of Coaching can be satisfied by one of the following:

• Coursework completed through an accredited college or university
• Coursework completed through Program Athletic Coaching Education (PACE)
• A passing score on the National High School Athletic Coaching Certification Exam
• Athletic coaching education sports science course completed through the American Sport Education Program (ASEP)
• Athletic coaching education sports science course completed through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).
