Applicants for a teaching license are required to submit official transcripts which verify completion of a teacher preparation program. You will need to request official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities where coursework was completed.

Important considerations to note:

• Electronic transcripts are a more secure means of sending PTSB your information and is the preferred method. These transcripts will be added to your application in the online portal once received.
• The transcripts MUST come directly from the institution. PTSB will only accept emailed electronic transcripts coming directly from the institution. PTSB will not accept photocopied, faxed, or printed off electronic transcripts.
• Recent graduates: wait to submit your official transcripts until all degrees have been posted to your transcript.
• Transcripts that do not list the applicant’s degree area(s) cannot be processed (unless you are on an Exception Authorization and currently working on your degree).

• If you choose to mail in your transcripts, they must be official transcripts sent directly from the institution to Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board at 2001 Capitol Avenue, Emerson Building Room 128, Cheyenne, WY 82002.
• Recent graduates: wait to submit your official transcripts until all degrees have been posted to your transcript.
• Transcripts that do not list the applicant’s degree area(s) cannot be processed (unless you are on an Exception Authorization and currently working on your degree).
